A wobbly microphone stand Oct 05, 2008
By rdrbilly With the mic stand I bought, the lowest screw doesn't thread properly -- it seems way too small for the screw hole. I can stand the thing up without tightening the now useless lower screw, but the stand is kind of wobbly. I put some electrical tape around the bottom pole to tighten the gap between the pole and the bottom sleeve which seems to help a bit. I'd be willing to spend a few dollars more, though, for a better made stand. FYI.

You get what you pay for. May 06, 2009
By Shane Finkenkeller For $20 you can't be mad at this product and the USB extension cord is a great bonus. However, the mic stand itself is really flimsy. After a couple of adjustments up and down, the bottom screw no longer holds the pole in place. I can still set it up and make it work, but I'd hoped for a sturdier stand. Still, you get what you pay for and for the price you won't find better.

Not a bad mic stand Oct 23, 2008
By Matthew Duerr I bought this mic stand because it came with the needed 10' usb extension. The stand and the cable both work as expected and without problems. The stand itself seems to be a little on the lighter side, which might be a plus for some. As long as you don't swing it around like a weapon it's sure to last.

Great Budget Mic Stand Apr 21, 2009
By Z. Souder I bought this to use with both Guitar Hero (Rockband/Guitar Hero/Standard Logitech USB mics are the same) and real microphones. Its a pretty good deal as a kit - stable tripod stand, 10ft usb extension, and a somewhat flimsy microphone clip (these normally aren't included). The stand is telescoping and can be set to be used comfortably from a couch or standing while playing guitar. For $20 this is a great deal
